Google Search Is Now Making It Easier For Americans To Vote

Google wants Americans to have a simpler experience with voting this year. According to NDTV, the company has announced that it will now provide what it calls an “in-depth” search result when users look for information on how to cast a ballot. The search titan basically wants to tell voters exactly what they need to bring to the polls and when the registration deadlines are. Moreover, the information is tailored to the exact state users are in, and will also tell them precisely how to register.
This is a great move from Google since it accounts for roughly two-thirds of the US search market – according to the research firm comScore – and could really encourage American voters to vote at greater rates, by equipping them with better resources.
